Mark Walsh
Since 1989, Mark has worked as a freelance photographer. In 1993 he travelled to the pilgrimage site of Medjurgorge in Bosnia. His photographic exhibition of village life in a war zone, THE WAY OF THE CROSS toured nationally in 1994 and 1995.
Mark has worked for many of New Zealand’s leading magazines including:

- The Listener
- New Zealand Geographic
- Marketing Magazine
- New Zealand Business
An increasing interest in documentary resulted in his undertaking study at The University of Auckland. It was during this time the documentary AS I LAY...PIHOPA POMPARIE recording the return of the remains of Bishop Pompallier to New Zealand, was completed. In 2003, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Film and Television and went on to further post graduate study completing a script writing course.
